Edolo is a municipality in the province of Brescia of about 4,300 inhabitants located in the upper Val Camonica. It is located at an altitude of 720 m above sea level and is about 95 km from Brescia and 45 km from Sondrio, it has also a favorable position with respect to the ski resorts: about 15 km from Aprica, Ponte di Legno, Tonale.
Among the training hubs active in the area, we note: the UNIMONT Mountain University, the Zanardelli Professional Training Center and the Meneghini Comprehensive Institute.

In this territorial context, the Municipality of Edolo makes available a brownfield area, privately owned, of 1,780 square meters of GFA for a settlement of tourist-receptive type. This is a prestigious area, compared to the type of settlement allowed: it is in fact a panoramic and quiet area, surrounded by greenery and close to the services of Edolo, including the hospital and the University of the Mountain. The location is strategic because of its proximity to ski lifts, the Adamello Regional Park and the Stelvio Natural Park; because it is 10 km from the Valli di Sant'Antonio Natura 2000 Network and 15 km from the Pian Gembro Partial Botanical Nature Reserve, which stands on a glacial peat bog near Aprica.
The Municipality is active and invests in the territory, it has recently carried out interventions for the improvement of the urban fabric and the safety of the area that is at hydrogeological risk: it has restored the structures and infrastructures of the Oglio torrent, damaged by the flood, it has carried out works of asphalting and hydraulic works. It also carried out the technical hygienic-sanitary adaptation and energy efficiency of the municipal swimming pool, built a university campus and redeveloped the former prison building.
