Since 1978, Délifrance has been producing and marketing frozen bakery products for the Horeca, artisanal and GDO worlds offering a wide range of viennoiserie, pastry, savory snacks, bread, pizza and focaccia references. Délifrance sells high quality bakery products with processes that are as close as possible to the artisanal ones. Their business is developed on two main axes: the viennoiserie, especially butter-based croissants, which they produce in their French factories, and bread, produced in their Panitaly factory in Liscate (MI) made following the natural times of the slow leavening.
Lombardy has always been a first-mover in Italy; consumer trends and the most exclusive formats start in Milan and then expand to the rest of the Country. For us this is a great source of inspiration and a proposal for new products.
Stefano Moretti, Director Southern EuropeAccording to Délifrance Lombardy Region was the perfect springboard for the expansion of their French business and the exponential distribution of their products.
The expansion in Lombardy Region started in 2014 and focused on the opening of coffee bars: the company today counts around 24,000 bars in Lombardy, the largest number in Italy.
Next step: starting from 2023, Délifrance will build a new line for the production of traditional Italian and regional bread. The company will increase the widespread coverage of its distribution, by hiring new people, internally trained through tailor-made paths.
