In 2014 DATA4 decided to invest in Lombardy building their own next generation campus Data Center.
As stated by the company, the decision to invest in the territory and especially in the area surrounding Milan was "mainly dictated by the morphology of the territory itself and the availability of vast estates".
In fact, the chosen area has many peculiarities: proximity to the urban area, low seismic impact and the services and coverage provided by the main electricity providers.
These factors along with finding a fertile ground for the development of strategic collaboration and synergies, lead Data4 to consider Lombardy as the best location to invest in.
