Restoration and conservation of the Filanda della Torre and consequent re-adaptation of the spaces. The project aims to recover the abandoned buildings and to restore the machinery installed in the spinning mill building (1500 m2) that will become a museum. The additional spaces available (1918 m2) could be used for co-working and/or accommodation activities with adjoining rooms/auditoriums (176 m2) and a Wellness Center (665 m2).
Ello is a hilly municipality, with a purely agricultural vocation which, in recent years, has also seen a growth in industrial sector. The municipality counts about 1200 inhabitants. The area has a maximum altitude of 575 meters and a minimum of 345 meters above sea level. Ello stands on the ridge of a hill and clearly shows a building expansion, while preserving some important buildings of the past, consisting of splendid manor houses surrounded by equally splendid gardens, carefully maintained by architects.
