The Vigevano industrial district is part of the "Sistema Moda" Fashion and Textile Federation and is one of the oldest in Lombardy. The district is undoubtedly one of the jewels in the crown of Italian industry. A crucial factor in the success of so many SMEs in the footwear sector can be traced back to an exemplary production system which has few equals.
